It has frequently been debated how often you should wash your towels. Some say to wash them after each use and others say you can wait and wash them once a week or longer. According to Women’s Health, the amount of times you can use a towel before washing it should be three or four times. “Any longer and towels can breed bacteria and mold.” It’s very important to hang your towel after you’ve used it, so that it can dry quicker. If you just throw it on the floor when you’re done using it, it will stay damp longer and can grow bacteria. So wash your towel after every three to four times you’ve used it and make sure to hang it up.
