TJX Continues To Pay Employees In Puerto Rico Despite Store Closures Due To Hurricane Damage

The Shade Room has confirmed that the company TJX is still paying employees in Puerto Rico even though stores are closed due to Hurricane Maria damage.

The company TJX includes, T.J Maxx, Marshalls, and Home Goods.

A TJX spokeswoman said, “We believe it is the right thing for us to do under these circumstances.”

The Boston Globe reports that there are 29 TJX owned stores on the island, but the company has not confirmed how many are closed as most of the island is still without power.
