Protestors are calling for change at Starbucks after two black men were arrested while waiting for a friend during a business meeting. The two men refused to leave the establishment after being asked because they never ordered any food. They were meeting to talk business and were waiting on one more friend to arrive but before that happened cops came to arrest them both. An employee called the police and sadly the two men were immediately arrested.
The arrests prompted some to accuse the company of racial discrimination and Starbucks has since apologized for the situation...
We apologize to the two individuals and our customers for what took place at our Philadelphia store on Thursday. pic.twitter.com/suUsytXHks
