Meek Mill Gets Permission to Record New Music in Miami

Meek Mill finally can start working on new music.

According to Hollywood Unlocked the Philly rapper received permission from the judge to travel to Miami and return to the recording studio for the first time since being released from prison last month.

Meek Mill remains out on bail pending his appeal for a wrongful conviction. He celebrated his 31st birthday by flying down to Miami following Saturday’s Philadelphia 76ers game and headed back into the studio on Sunday.

Via Hollywood Unlocked:

“He got permission to fly down to Miami for work, to go into the studio. I’m sure he’s got a lot to say.” a close source said.

The source added that Meek played it smart and turned down offers from friends who wanted to throw him a huge birthday party in Miami. Instead, Meek recorded some new music and went out to dinner on Sunday night with a group of friends after watching his NBC “Dateline” special with Lester Holt.

Meek Mill is due to fly back to his hometown of Philadelphia on Monday for the next 76ers game in the NBA Finals.
