NEW YORK, NY – JANUARY 15: Students walk to board a school bus in Manhattan’s East Village on January 15, 2013 in New York City. Drivers of the city’s school buses are set to go on strike tomorrow after negotiations with Mayor Michael Bloomberg failed to reach an agreement; over 150,000 children will need to find an alternate method of transportation to school.

The players were hanging out in the dorm room while the coaches decided to hop on a school bus and make a "beer run".
WPXI News reported that the store clerk noticed the school bus and reported the coaches to Connors State officials. It just so happens the college is a dry campus, which means they forbid alcohol on school premises.
Not only where the coaches and players kicked out of camp a day early, the coaches were fired after the college notified the high school.

One of the players, Kyle Miller stated that the team found out the news the next day. While the team was disappointed, Miller also said, “We were pretty upset because we paid money out of pocket to go that camp, because we had to stay for three nights and we had to end up leaving on the second day.”
