Ed Sheeran Crashed On Jamie Foxx’s Couch Before He Was Famous

Jamie Foxx recently did an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, and he let all of us know he housed Ed Sheeran for six weeks while he was still in his struggling artist phase!

Jamie Foxx had a satellite radio show in LA, Sheeran reached out to him just to see if Foxx would give his music a listen. Not only did he listen to it, he was wildly impressed and offered him a place to stay.

“So he plays and I was like, you’re incredible,” Jamie explained. “I said listen, I know you don’t have anywhere to go just chill here.”

Jamie also recalled when he took the singer to perform live in front of 800 black people in downtown LA and Sheeran got a standing ovation in 12 minutes. “And the rest was history,” said Jamie.
