Batman fans should rejoice, because the Dark Knights arch nemesis Joker, will be getting an origin story that will be anchored by Martin himself.
According to Deadline, Warner Bros. & DC are looking to put together a spin-off around the clowned prince, with Todd Phillips (The Hangover) writing/directing, and Martin Scorsese on as producer.
It doesn't look like Jared Leto would be back as Joker, as the intention for the film will be set in a gritty, early 80's Gotham City.
