Two People Are Dead After A Shooting Outside A Teen Event In Tampa
A male and female are dead following a shooting outside a teen event held in Tampa on Monday evening.
According to Fox 13, fights erupted inside “The Club” last night. “The Club” is a teen event that was rented out at a storage facility and hosted about 200 teens.
The event had planned to run from 8 p.m. until midnight, however, due to fights inside the venue, the host ended the event early.
Shortly before midnight, fireworks were heard nearby, followed by gunshots.
Two armed guards at the event opened fire on a vehicle they believe fired the shots. Two people inside the vehicle died from gunshot wounds.
At this time, their names have not been released.
Authorities are still investigating what led up to the shooting.
