Cirque du Soleil ‘Volta’ Performer Dies After Fall During Tampa Show
Sad news coming out of Tampa today…
The world famous, Cirque du Soleil has been in town for about a month now. They were in their last weekend of performances at their big top tent at the Tampa Greyhound track.
Saturday night, the day before their last performances the show was running smoothly until an aerialist fell during a performance. Paramedics and aids rushed to his side, people in the audience said they did not see him move.
Audience member were shaken up, many cried in disbelief to what they just witnessed and others stopped to pray for the man. He was rushed to Tampa General hospital and was pronounced dead from his injuries.

The aerialist/acrobat known as Yann Arnaud is survived by his wife, 2 daughters and parents. Our hearts go out to them in this difficult time.
