In Pinellas county, blasting WiLD on your car stereo can cost you big time!
According to ABC Action News, if a PCSO deputy hears someone blasting music from their car, drivers can be fined $218. If the same driver is caught again, they'll be ticketed for $418, and a third offense will run $500!
Six years ago enforcement on loud stereos began and the sheriff's office is reminding drivers this summer that overly loud music is a fe=ineable offense.
So how do you know if the music in your car is too loud? The noise ordinances in Pinellas state that if the car next to you can hear your music through rolled-up windows, you're in violation and subject to a fine.
