The Kiki or #InMyFeelings challenge has become a worldwide phenomenon.
However, if you try to do it in Egypt, you could go to jail. The full on challenge where people do the dance to Drake’s song after jumping out of their car is seen as a hazard by Egyptian officials.
An unnamed Interior minister said dancers could be prosecuted for breaking traffic laws. Local media said that kind of violation could put someone in prison for up to a year.
There are also social violations too. Religious officials have said the challenge is a threat to Egypt’s “long entrenched values and ethics.” Despite all that, The Kiki is trending in the country.
