Demolition Of University Mall Underway Now To Prepare For Redevelopment

Say goodbye to the University Mall! Yesterday, demolition of the University Mall on Fowler Avenue has officially started and they’re turning it into an urban village-style life sciences and technology research park called Uptown.

The shopping centerwas built in 1974 and because of slow sales they declared bankruptcy and now it’s being completely rebuilt.
