Second Man Contracts Flesh-Eating Bacteria In Tampa Bay & Nearly Loses Foot!!!

Just the other day a fisherman was diagnosed with a rare flesh-eating bacteria and now there’s another case and it’s disgusting! Yes it’s true, a second family has come forward with a similar story.

Barry Briggs, from Ohio was visiting his family in Tampa for Spring Break and took a boating trip at Weedon Island. At first his foot started to swell, but by the time he got home he was diagnosed with necrotizing fasciitis.

The surgeon still believes it was vibrio and the man was left in the hospital for over 11 days to fix his foot.
