During an interview at the Tribeca Film Festival, Sarah Silverman talked about comedians being judged by old tweets or jokes.

Silverman says that some of the things she’s said in the past she wouldn’t say now because she’s grown, “If we’re for progress, being ‘progressive’ means that you change with all the new information that you get.”

Silverman calls the act of people not letting comedians grow and change, “righteousness porn...do I secretly want them to not be changed so I can point to them as wrong and myself as right?”
