A Largo police officer has officially been fired after he appeared to choke a black teenager on video.

The officer who is 43-year-old Brian Livernois was under an internal investigation and it was determined that he had in fact violated department policy.

Livernois stopped some people in April because a 17-year-old boy matched the description of a person who had just threatened to shoot someone.

A video shows the argument between the officer and teen before Livernois drags the teen to the front of his patrol car and then appears to grab the teen around the neck.
