Lifetime Announces That Another ‘Surviving R.Kelly’ Docuseries Is In The Works
R. Kelly is behind bars but filming is underway on a four hour follow up to Lifetime network’s docuseries “Surviving R. Kelly.”
Lifetime reps announced today that “Surviving R. Kelly: The Aftermath” is expected to include interviews with psychologists and more accusers. Some interviews took place in Chicago. Federal indictments against Kelly were made public in New York and Chicago earlier this month. Kelly along with members of his inner circle are accused of a scheme to groom and sexually exploit young girls all while covering it up. R. Kelly is being held without bond at the Metropolitan Correctional Center. He will be brought to New York Aug 2 for a hearing on racketeering charges. R Kelly has denied the charges against him. A premiere date has not been announced.“Surviving Jeffrey Epstein” will tell the story of Epstein, who is a multimillionaire businessman, accused of sexually abusing and trafficking underage girls. No date on when that will premiere either.
