Bradenton Publix Evacuated
UPDATE: Everything has been cleared
————————————————
A Bradenton Publix (near the 7300 block of Manatee Avenue) was the scene of a suspicious package this morning. According to an ABC7 reporter it was “a bottle with wires coming out and some type of unknown liquid”.
All employees and customers were evacuated from the building and most of the shops in the area were also closed during the time of the incident. Bradenton Police were called, as well as the bomb unit and hazmat to secure the scene.
No injuries have been reported and the package has been cleared.
