Study Shows Chipotle Bowls Contain Cancer Linked Chemicals
The New Food Economy reported that the fiber bowls are being exposed to chemicals that can lead to cancer.
The New Food Economy says they tested fiber bowls from 14 locations including Chipotle and Sweetgreen. The study says all of the samples contained PFAS also called “Forever Chemicals. This is a chemical compound that helps the bowls hold wet, hot and greasy food.The Environmental Protection Agency says the compounds do not break down in the human body, and they can accumulate over time.
