Man Kills His 6-Year-Old Son During An Attempted Exorcism
An Arizona man has been charged with first-degree murder after Cops say he killed his 6-year-old son by forcing hot running water in his mouth for several minutes as part of an exorcism.
Pablo Martinez told cops that his child had a demon inside of him and that he needed to be saved. He was arrested after the boys adoptive mother called 911.She told federal officials that she heard gurgling sounds coming from the bathroom but found the door locked. When she got it unlocked, she said she saw the dad holding the boy under the water and screamed multiple times for him to stop. The man said he had to perform the exorcism on his son because the week prior he had an unatural rage. When police arrived, they found the boy tucked into his bed. He was not breathing and had burns covering 15 percent of his body. He was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The father, Pablo was taken into custody and is being held by the U.S. Marshals Service.
