Parents Warn Others Of ‘Positional Asphyxiation’ After Their Baby Died Sleeping In His Car Seat
Ryne and Rachel Junggling are now warning other parents about Positional Asphyxiation after their infant son died while sleeping in a car seat at daycare. Usually the day care provider would take both of the twins out of their car seats but this day she left Anders in his so he could sleep. What happened next led to one of the worst day’s in the couples lives. Anders who had been Perfectly healthy and strong two hours prior, was now fighting for his life because his airway had become constricted while sleeping in his car seat, causing asphyxiation. According to google Positional asphyxia “is a form of asphyxia which occurs when someone’s position prevents the person from breathing adequately.”
