Police Find 39 Bodies Inside Of A Truck
Police launched a murder investigation Wednesday after 39 bodies were found inside a tractor trailer on an industrial estate in southeast England. Essex Police said a man from Northern Ireland had been arrested and suspected of murder. The bodies were found 25 miles east of London.
This morning the deputy chief said that the identification of the victims was the number one priority for the police. She revealed that their nationalities remained unclear. “This is a tragic incident where a large number of people have lost their lives,” Chief Superintendent of Essex Police Andrew Mariner said in the statement.
