An Apple Watch Saves The Lives Of Two Hikers
A New Jersey man is giving credit to his apple watch for saving his life when him and his date fell from a cliff when they were lost. James Prudenciano and his date, were walking through Hartshorne Woods Park last week when they got lost after it got dark. While they were walking through the night, the couple found a cliff they believed would lead to solid ground. Sadly after attempting to slide down it, they were shocked to see there were only rocks and a river waiting for them below.
Prudenciano says I just remember hearing, ‘911, what’s your emergency?’ and my Apple Watch started talking to me.” He goes on to say “I was screaming that I’m going to die. I really felt I was going to die. There was no way out of this for me. I literally said my last goodbyes.” According to Apple, the Series 4/5 editions of the device have “Fall Detection,” which will alert 911.
