Grandfather Charged In Toddlers Death After She Fell From Cruise Ship
A judge ordered the arrest of Salvatore Anello after prosecutors gave evidence saying that 18-month-old chloe Wiegand fell out of the Royal Carribean ship when he raised her to an open window back in July. He is facing charges of negligent homicide.
Anello along with his family believes he is innocent and is blaming the Royal Carribean for leaving the window open. Anello say’s he did not know the window was open and only propped her up so she could bang on it, just like she does at her brothers hockey games. Anello was released on a $80,000 bond, and is scheduled to appear back in court November 20th. The families attorney says that “these criminal charges are pouring salt on the open wounds of this grieving family.”
