Groom Says Sister Will Be ‘Dead to Him’ If She Misses Wedding for Rehab
A mom took to Reddit to get advice.
Her daughter and son are fighting because the daughter does not want to attend his wedding.
She is a recovering alcoholic who will be leaving rehab a few days before his wedding. She will then be going to a sober living facility for 12 weeks. She and her mom do not believe she is ready to attend a wedding with an open bar.
The groom, her brother, said that if she does not attend she will be dead to him. Most Reddit users sided with the sister that her sobriety comes first.
One person reasoned that the brother is probably tired of everything always being about the sister and for one day he wants it to be about him.
