Florida 911 Dispatch Supervisor Was Watching Netflix While Caller Tried To Get Help After Shooting
A 911 dispatch supervisor was watching a movie on Netflix while a caller tried to get help after someone shot at her car. An internal investigation was done and supervisor Julie Vidaud was watching “I Am Mother” during the 911 call that happened June 9th.
According to reports there was a 34 minute delay in the call being dispatched to an officer. The victim says she actually had to drive herself to the Coral Springs Police station and thats when she was told an officer would be on his way. Vidaud is facing discipline for “Failure to supervise,” and is expected to receive a 2 day suspension without pay. The two dispatchers who answered the calls have been fired.
