Miami songstress and musical icon, Gloria Estefan turned down the invitation to play the Super Bowl LIV Halftime Show.

Her reason? “Come on — those high-stress things? That’s a high-stress thing. I’ve done them. I’ve done two,” says Estefan.

Estefan says that she’s thrilled that Jennifer Lopez and Shakira will be performing and added that they are “the perfect people” for the job.

Estefan also mentioned that Lopez and Shakira are both signed to her husband, Emilio. Gloria wrote Shakira’s crossover hit, “Whenever, Wherever” as well as Lopez’s “Let’s Get Loud.”
