ABC News Suspends Journalist Who Falsely Reported All 4 Of Kobe’s Daughters Were In Helicopter Crash
ABC News correspondent Matt Gutman was suspended yesterday after he lied on-air about the Kobe Bryant’s four daughters dying in the helicopter.
Hes since apologized for making the mistake but it was too late and is now taking mandatory time off from the network.
ABC released a statement saying, “Reporting the facts accurately is the cornerstone of our journalism. As he acknowledged on Sunday, Matt Gutman’s initial reporting was not accurate and failed to meet our editorial standards.”
