Florida Bars & Nightclubs Must Close By 5PM
Although Tampa, St. Pete and many other local cities have set their own rules for bars and restaurants, Governor Ron DeSantis in a press conference this morning set a new tone in the fight against the coronavirus. Bars and nightclubs in Florida will close today at 5 p.m. for at least the next 30 days. For now, restaurants are not subject to the rule. However, DeSantis did say that all restaurants can now only be at 50-percent capacity. They also must stagger seating to keep customers at a safer distance.
