It’s just one of the reasons we love this team. The Tampa Bay Lightning are stepping up big to help out. Steven Stamkos made the announcement today that the team is doing two things.

First they have a fund that’s going to help all part-time Lightning and Amalie Arena employees get through this downtime. Secondly, the team is donating 500,000 meals to Feeding Tampa Bay. Stamkos says this will help kids who are out of school, the elderly who can’t get out, and families who’ve been hit hard economically.
