Invasive ‘Murder Hornets’ Have Been Spotted In The U.S. For The Very First Time
Invasive “murder hornets” have been spotted in the United States for the very first time and this is raising concerns for the nations honeybees! Four of the hornets were seen in Washington state in December of 2019!According to reports murder hornets become most dangerous from late summer to early fall, when they ruin honey bee populations. The hornets are usually between 1.5 to 2 inches long, and have large yellow-orange heads with prominent eyes, and a black and yellow striped abdomen.
