Disney Plus Hits 54.5 Million Subscribers
Despite these challenging times for many businesses, Disney Plus is rolling along nicely.
During a shareholder call, Disney announced that as of Star Wars Day the streaming service had 54.5 million subscribers.
Disney CEO Bob Chapek said, “the response to Disney Plus has exceeded even our highest expectations.”
Now streaming is Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which was released on the streaming service months before it was anticipated.
