JC Penney Plans To Close More Than 240 Stores
J.C. Penney has filed for bankruptcy protection and that means they need to close 30% of its 846 stores! They will be closing fast and plans to close about 192 stores by February 2021. They will ultimately have to close 50 additional stores before the end of the year.
J.C. Penney is the biggest retailer to file for this since the coronavirus pandemic forced them to shut down.
