Blood Brokers Are Paying Up To $1,000 For Samples From Recovered COVID-19 Patients
If you know someone or are someone who had the Corona Virus, this is for you! Blood brokers are reportedly paying up to a grand from recovered COVID-19 patients. The reason? To conduct more antibody tests.
The manager of business operations that sells antibody tests for COVID-19, was quoted $1,000 for one-milliliter of blood.
Antibody tests for COVID-19 tell whether someone has recovered from the coronavirus, and if they are immune from obtaining the virus again.
The CDC made a statement last week, saying antibody tests should not be used to make decisions whether someone can return to work.
