Petition To Get Rid Of Brooksville “Hanging Tree”
Hernando County has been a topic of discussion in the last few days. There is a “hanging tree” in front of the Brooksville courthouse. This tree was a place where black people were being lynched 100 years ago.
Many people in Brookville have spoken out about getting rid of this tree.
A petition has been created to remove this tree, as many Americans are coming together to change social injustice.
