Highest Recorded Cases Of Coronavirus In Florida Since Pandemic Began
Florida has been setting new records when it comes to Coronavirus cases, the latest coming Tuesday. As of yesterday, there has been 2,783 reported cases of COVID-19! The number of cases in Florida has now reached over 80,000 since the pandemic began in March.
Furthermore, yesterday alone there was 55 deaths due to the virus bringing the total death rate to 3,085.
Health officials and government leaders think expanded testing is the reason for more infections. There has also been a significant increase since the state reopening of restaurants, bars, retail stores and amusement parks.
Tuesday marked the 14th consecutive day of over 1,000 cases, with over 12,738 positive cases since Thursday.
