Mandatory Mask Order In Place For City of Tampa
A mandatory mask order is in place in Tampa amid the rapid increase of positive COVID-19 test results in Floirda.
Jane Castro made the announcement on Thursday saying, I’m going to put a mandatory mask ordinance for the city of Tampa right now to protect citizens.”
This order goes into effect beginning at 5pm on Friday, requiring a face mask to be worn in any indoor public setting. Those who do not comply can receive a citation. A child below the age of 2 years is not required to wear a mask.
