Tampa Man Who Set Champs On Fire During Riots Has Been Captured In New York
According to the The U.S. Attorney’s Office, a suspect with a history of over 30 arrests is the man who burned down the Champs Sports store in Tampa during one of the night’s of rioting. Terrance Lee Hester Jr. is accused of intentionally setting a fire that destroyed the store and damaged others along Fowler Avenue in the early morning hours of May 31.Hester was arrested in New York and made his appearance in federal court last Friday. Law enforcement officials say He will be extradited back to Tampa to face charges. With the help Hesters relatives, officers were able to capture Hester.
