15-Year-Old Girl Get’s Locked Up Because She Did Not Complete Her Online Homework
A 15 year old teenager was sent to a juvenile detention center in suburbs of Detroit, for violating her probation. Her violation was the fact that she did not complete her online coursework during the coronavirus. This is crazy especially since non violent criminals have been getting released from jail because of the pandemic. In her ruling, she found Grace “guilty on failure to submit to any schoolwork and getting up for school” and called Grace a “threat to (the) community,” citing the assault and theft charges that led to her probation. She was first put on probation for fighting with her mother and stealing.
