Tampa News Anchor Found Out She Had Cancer After Viewer Noticed Symptoms During Broadcast
A Tampa reporter at WFLA news, recently discovered that she had cancer thanks to a faithful viewer. Victoria Price who is an investigative reporter says that she joined her colleagues in covering coronavirus over the past several months, and she wasn’t thinking about her own health. Price goes on to say that she was shocked and thankful that one of the viewers emailed her that they noticed a lump in her throat. “As a journalist, it’s been full throttle since the pandemic began. Never-ending shifts in a never-ending news cycle, adjusting to remote workflows and in my case, taking on a new investigative role. We were covering the most important health story in a century, but my own health was the farthest thing from my mind.”
