Pasco County: Homeowner Shoots, Kills Armed Man Breaking Into Home
There was a deadly shooting Saturday afternoon in Land O’ Lakes when a homeowner shot a man who attempted to break into his home.
It happened around 12:30 p.m. when a man named Ronald Fleet who was armed, started kicking the door trying to get inside the home. The homeowner then grabbed his gun to defend his family and started shooting. That’s when Fleet fired back! The owner of the home then shot again ultimately killing Fleet dead.
*** Fleet is the estranged husband to a member of the victim’s family. It’s believed that Fleet was upset because the family was supporting his estranged wife during their divorce proceedings.
