[Video] Clearwater Police Investigate Violent Attacks In Beach Parking Garage

Anthony DeCamp and his brother were violently attacked early Monday morning, as they were walking back to his car. Reports tell us that his car was parked in the North Beach parking garage on Clearwater Beach. Decamp said a group of men and a girl approached them and began attacking. Police have arrested Taylor Sparling, Benjamin Fishman, Antuan Lapread and Victoria Escudeo on aggravated battery charges. They are still looking for the other people who were involved.

  All Tampa parks, dog parks, beaches and year-round pools are open. Certain areas in the parks will remain closed and residents will be required to practice social distancing and gatherings of more than 10 people will not be prohibited.

  Beaches are all closed in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Manatee and Sarasota counties. Also Florida State Parks are now closed.

• Go to a beach you’ve never been to.

  This one seems to be the no-brainer to me. Grab a cooler, towel, beach chair, sunblock and a radio (I even know a good station to listen to). Head to a beach you've always meant to check out but have never gotten around to visiting. We always tend to go to one that's nearby. Pick a new one. Listen to the waves hit the beach and just relax. We've had a stressful week. I can't think of a better way to spend this weekend given that the weather will be warm but not too hot and muggy.
