Man arrested After He Raped And Exposed 12-year-Old To HIV

A 35-year-old man from Michigan is facing several charges after police say he had a sexual relationship with a 12-year-old girl. One of the charges is for exposing the girl to HIV. Cops say they learned about the crime when her family reported her missing. The girl says she thought the man was 19, which still would be illegal, but she had no idea he was in his 30’s. Hodges was charged with four counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, one count of second-degree criminal sexual conduct, two counts of HIV-unknowingly engaging in intercourse with intent to inflict uninformed partner and one count of habitual offender. He was given no bond.
