CDC Says Families Should Avoid Trick-or-Treating This Halloween
The CDC says to cancel trick-or-treating this year! They say that a “one-way, walk-through haunted forest” is fine, provided you can stay 6 feet apart from others. But, “If screaming will likely occur, greater distancing is advised.”
The CDC also wants people to skip trick-or-treating this year and to not go inside haunted houses, indoor costume parties and visiting fall festivals outside your community.
Instead they want you to just carve pumpkins at home, or meet up with friends at least outside. They also suggested doing a virtual costume contest, or a movie night with family.
