Florida Woman Forfeits Lottery Prize Because The Post Office Lost Her Winning Ticket!
Um, excuse me? You’re telling me a woman won the lottery and the post office LOST her ticket? We’d be super upset! Yes it’s true, a lottery winner in Hernando County says the United States Post Office lost her winning lottery ticket even though she had a tracking number!
She was excited to find out that she won $1,000 in the state’s Second Chance Lottery game but because of COVID-19, you can’t go to the lottery office and drop off your ticket. You must send it by mail.
Her tracking information last showed the ticket in transit on August 12th at a Tallahassee post office but after that no more information showed up. The post office is trying their best to find the missing mail.
