Millionaire Will Walk Free After Killing His Girlfriend And Blaming It On “Rough Sex”
Millionaire John Broadhurst is set to walk free this month after killing his 26 year old girlfriend. Broadhurst blamed her death on rough sex. In 2016 he left her for dead in a pool of blood at the bottom of a flight of stairs in their home. After being jailed for her death, Broadhurst and his legal team used the defense of rough sex, and claimed he only hurt her “within the boundaries of her masochistic desires.” In December of 2018 his murder charged was lessened, and after serving 22 months, he will walk free. This case has caused the government to create a domestic abuse bill, and you can no longer use “rough sex” as a legal defense in the U.K.
