Pasco Child Sets Fire In Home To Escape Abusive Parents
Two parents were arrested in Pasco on Monday after their child set a mattress on fire to escape a dark room that he/she was locked in. The Pasco sheriffs office said that Kelley and Daniel Davis have 6 children but have just kept one of them locked in a bedroom with no power since march. The parents didn’t fully expose why they singled one child out other than personality traits they did not like. Police responded to the home after receiving calls that an arson was in progress. When cops arrived they discovered that a child had done it to escape his/her bedroom. Officers found feces on the wall and urine on the floor of the bedroom. The child was able to escape because his/her sister slid matches under the door. Daniel and Kelley Davis were each charged with one count of aggravated child abuse. All of the children are now in protective custody.
