Court Rules: Pot Smell Alone Can’t Form Basis For Vehicle Search
This could be good news for other states soon! An appeals court in Pennsylvania reversed a judge’s ruling saying that police didn’t have a valid legal reason for searching a car just because it smelled like marijuana.
They say that the smell alone of marijuana is not enough to have police search a car without a warrant.
This could be the start of change around the country!
