Seven people were arrested for stealing a total of $16 million in coronavirus relief funds! How did they get caught? Well, they decided to spend it on luxury cars, including a Lamborghini and a Porsche.
Out of Houston six people conspired with an Illinois man to commit fraud and apply for $30 million in loans through the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). They didn’t get the full amount and instead got $16 million and bought Lamborghini’s and other fancy cars that led police to their arrest.
