A Pasco man put his family in harms way after he fled the cops. It happened Thursday on U.S. Highway 19 and San Marco Drive. The Pasco County Sheriff’s Office said a deputy had tried to stop the vehicle for a tint violation. As the officer was walking up to the car, Jonathan Mark DeLoach sped away to a nearby trailer park. The driver lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a pond. The Sheriff’s office released video of the incident and in it, you can see a woman getting out of the vehicle and crying for help because her kids were in the car. Thankfully the kids were rescued. DeLoach was arrested on several charges, including possession of methamphetamine, driving with a suspended license, child abuse, fleeing to elude and reckless driving.
