LIST: Tampa Restaurants Approved By The NBA
We are not used to NBA games in the Tampa Bay Area. Now that the Toronto Raptors have made Amalie Arena their temporary home, the NBA has named a few restaurants as the go-to for the away teams.
Due to the pandemic, there are some rules when it comes to players and team employees to eat out in each city they visit. The NBA released a list of restaurants they are allowed to dine at, and that list includes a few in Tampa:
- Del Frisco’s Grille
- Ocean Prime
- Six at JW Marriott
Only three? Wow. The NBA stars are going to be easy to find. But not too fast… According to ESPN, it is so low because the approved restaurants had to agree to some rules and regulations:
- Each restaurant must have an outdoor space or private room that doesn’t share air space with the rest of the facility.
- Secure entrances and exits for players.
- Servers must wear face masks.
Here are some restaurants they approved for other cities in Florida:
Orlando
- Eddie V’s Prime Seafood
- Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar
- Soco
Miami
- Moxie’s
- Prime 112
- Prime Italian
- Red Rooster Overtown
- Zuma
